British Airways Paralympic Projection

To mark the arrival of thousands of international athletes Drive projected a series of giant images of GB Paralympics athlete Shelly Woods for client British Airways.

The images were on display during the busiest two days of international athlete arrivals into Heathrow on the airline’s engineering hangars, which can be seen by everyone flying in & out of the airport.

The projections showed Paralympics GB athlete Shelly Woods with the wording ‘Welcome to our manor’ and #HomeAdvantage to encourage the home support and to remind everyone that only one team has the home advantage.

The largest of the images measured 58m x 18m – the equivalent to 24 London Routemaster double decker buses.

IMPACT:

National coverage including BBC ‘pictures of the day’, The Evening Standard, and The Huffington Post.
