Drive was employed by BMB Neon to deliver a nationwide launch of Microsoft’s radical new Windows 8 software.
The Windows 8 software is a significant shift from traditional software, based on the latest touch screen technology. The launch had to be bold, innovative and impactful to reflect the brand messaging.
The inaugural touchscreen experience was first revealed at the Dixons PC World flagship London store, then rolled out back to back across a further 17 stores, with fans of the brand following the progress on social media.
In each store a bespoke branded set was designed and installed, and ordinary shop windows were transformed into enormous, fully-functioning Windows 8 driven touch-sensitive screens.
IMPACT
The launch received nationwide press coverage and great traction on Twitter.
The footfall for two out of a total of 18 stores was over 1 million in under a month.
